About The Show!Owens Arts Place Museum is the first and only fine arts museum in the history of Logan County. We will celebrate our 15th anniversary on April 26, 2016. As a part of our celebrations, we are holding a juried art show for the students of Logan County on April 19, 2020. We hope that you will encourage the young artists in your life to participate.
It is our intention to provide an opportunity for young people between the ages of 13 – 18 to exhibit their artwork publicly and experience a real juried exhibition in a respected museum in Logan County. Our show will encourage student creativity and will allow artists to receive public recognition. A professional artist from Oklahoma City will judge the work, and the winners will receive prizes. There will also be local media coverage, which will serve as a promotion for your students and program. Your student participation and support will highlight the importance of local art. The success of this show depends on the involvement of our local public and private schools, homeschools, teachers, and students. |
